Talking Couple of questions >.< *so cited*

Okay soooo i have a couple questions befor i start. this May be long.
1. i was wondering of how good the quality is, like is it glitchy, or lag alot, and are the graphics good?

2. does this game have an ending? or does it continue on as a "build up a really strong character and see how high you can get"?

3.What are other things that are good about the game?

4.What are other things that are bad about the game?

5.What will be the price of the cheapest pc with all the requirements for the game be? like i dont want it to have ANY litchy problems, or really slow.

6. does it get boring after a while...? i want it to last a long time with me ^.^

Thankyou sooo much guys :3

1. If you have high speed internet and not Dial up so will be fine. Graphics = DX 8 and 9 high quality. (look at screenshots on guildwars.com)

2. in PvE there is a storyline which can be completed but after that the game just begins with all of the end game content and high level areas unlocked.

3. endless

4. endless

5.Recommended System Specs:

* Windows XP/2000/Vista
* Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* DVD-ROM Drive
* 4 GB Available HDD Space
* ATI Radeon 9600 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 series video card or above
* 16-bit Sound Card
* Internet connection
* Keyboard and mouse
* DirectX 9

Run that and you will be fine.

6. Its personal preference. After you level up and beat the game there are titles and high end areas you can go to and farm. Join a guild and have fun with them.

1. Great quality graphics, virtually no lag most of the time, except for some bad rubberbanding during farms D:
2. Each campaign has an ending, all separate from one another, but the EoTN ending pretty much leads into GW2. The endings are all very climactic and good though.
3. Elite areas, UW/FoW/DoA/Deep/Urgoz, lots of places to solo farm. Heroes which are awesome. The armor is also pretty sick depending on what character you create. And of course, URSAN BLESSING!!!
4. May be hard to find groups for some areas, which is what makes the heroes so great in teh first place.
5. Any average comp with a 256mb video card and at least 1gb ram should be more than enough. The graphics are good, but not UT3 good lol.
6. Not really, if you get bored on one character, switch to another. Or go farming, ABing, UW/FoW clearing, build your EoTN rep, run people, vanquish, etc...

Speaking from experience, this really is a great game, and have no regrets in buying the 3 campaigns and EoTN. Once you've played one, you really wanna buy the others, it's just a lot of fun.

Welcome to GW.

1. Quality is excellent. Bugs are usually taken care of quickly, graphics are awesome and lag is generally not much of a problem (although just this morning I was was getting so much the game was unplayable, that might be something in my connection though as I've never experienced it so bad).

2. Yes, each campaign (and the expansion) has a story with a beginning, a middle and an ending. And, no - level is capped at 20 (reached sooner in some campaigns than others), after which you continue getting new skills which is how you "refine" your character. Same with equipment - max stat weapons and armor are accessible fairly quickly (again, depending on campaign) so everyone is pretty much equal, stats-wise.

3. One nice feature is the henchman (and heroes, if you have Nightfall or Eye of the North), so if you can't find real people to group with you can still play the game.

4. Like any on-line community, you encounter your fair share of jerks. The majority of players are pretty nice, though.

5. GW has fairly low system reqs so even modest boxes should give decent performance. Integrated graphics can be "iffy" but anything with a separate AGP or PCI-E graphics card, even a low-end one, should do fine. RAM does seem to be perhaps the biggest factor in performance, though - more is better. Broadband isn't strictly neccessary, many people find dial-up performance quite acceptable.

6. Well, that's kind of subjective - anything can get boring after a while. Nice thing with "free to play" is, if you get bored with the game, you can go off and play something else for a while, then come back. Also, there's so much to do in the game, if you're just bored with what you're doing, you can do something else. For example, you finish a campaign with one character/profession, you make a new character of a different profession and play through again. Now, granted, in playing through the same campaign with your 6th or 7th character, while the story itself may seem a trifle boring, playing a different profession helps to keep it fresh.

Hope this helps. Let us now how you like it after playing a bit. Lots of helpful people on the forums here if you have any questions or need some advice.

I would recommend (to keep the game fun for you) to move from PvE to PvP (though you should start in PvE) once PvE gets boring. Oh, and ABs (you'll know what those are quite soon) aren't the fun type of PvP. Start in RA then work your way up. Who knows... you might be one of the best monks (or anything) in the game in a few years >.<

PvE has lost its touch for me, so I made an RA character, and have been messing around. It's quite fun.

Also, never join the guilds that own a town with faction (Cavalon or House zu Heltzer are the hardest to hold), as these guilds will force you to farm faction, which is NOT fun.

Oh, good luck, have fun, dont run orison of healing or healing breeze on a warrior, etc.

Also, www.pvxwiki.com, and the campfire section here have some good builds to run. Go there if you need guidance!!!

And for bonus advice, ingore most of this

have your own ideas of what is "fun" besides a [Healing Breeze] Warrior is very fun, as is a [Flare] Ranger

As long as you know when things like that no longer work

Alot of people dont like PvP, and PvP has a (well deserved) reputaion for being elitists and HIGHLY competative.

Im not purposly trying to go agaisnt Kev, but really I dont want you going into GW with set ideas of whats "fun" and whats not.

also WELCOME, if you ever need anything feel free to PM me in game

There's nothing like a post that is asking something that's been asked countless times to bring out the +1's (exception being Mr G). In the future, use search or read this sticky, http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=107306
